SITE MANAGEMENT SAFETY TRAINING SCHEME COURSE (FIVE-DAY COURSE)
This course is designed for site managers, agents and persons who are responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering a workforce.
The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction, and civil engineering industries. The course focuses on the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a safe practice in the workplace.
Who should attend?
It is intended for project managers, site managers and supervisors as well as proprietors of small to medium companies. Client-based personnel also benefit by attending the course. This qualification is listed in the Approved Code of Practice for the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations as a demonstration of competence in the role of site manager.
