Fire Safety training
This half-day course has been specifically designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of fire safety awareness and basic fire training for all staff.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that
21. —(1) The responsible person must ensure that his employees are provided with adequate safety training ......
a) include suitable and sufficient instruction and training on the appropriate precautions and actions to be taken by the employee in order to safeguard himself and other relevant persons on the premises;
Delegates will have the opportunity to understand the principles of fire fighting equipment.
Learning objectives are:
- Chemistry of fire
- Basic Fire Prevention
- Fire Procedures
- Evacuation procedures (with practical work)
- Raising the fire alarm
- A demonstration on the use of extinguishers
